Our midcoast Maine community is friendly, supportive, and genuinely welcoming. The partners you train with quickly become some of your closest friends.
Every class starts with the building blocks: positions, escapes, sweeps, and submissions, taught step by step so the details stick and your game has a foundation.
Jiu Jitsu is built on leverage and technique, not size or strength. You'll learn practical skills to stay calm and in control in real-world situations.
You'll start live from a specific position or scenario and work it against a resisting partner with a clear goal. It's the fastest way to build problem-solving, timing, and real confidence in the exchanges that matter most.
"Rolling" is where it all comes together. You'll apply technique against a resisting partner at a pace that's right for you: controlled, safe, and a whole lot of fun.
Want to test yourself? We offer competition-focused training and coaching for members who want to compete, at whatever level you're chasing.
Adult classes run throughout the week in both Gi and No-Gi. Check the full schedule for current days and times, or text us and we'll help you find your spot.
All levels welcome, from day one. Come watch, or jump right on the mats. We'll take care of the rest.
